Residents moving out can select a Traditional or an Express Checkout option (see your RA for details).

All residence halls will close for summer on Saturday, May 11, 2018 at 2 p.m. All students must vacate their rooms by this time. Please make sure all the items below are completed to ensure you will not receive additional charges.
Express Checkout offers you the opportunity to complete the checkout process on your own. This option places a greater responsibility on you to complete the process correctly. By using the Express checkout option, you acknowledge your responsibility for any room damage charges found by a hall staff member after you check out.
Express check out can be used at anytime, no appointment is necessary. The room will be checked by a Resident Assistant after the room is completely empty. This option does not allow you to appeal any billed charges.
To complete the Express Checkout:
Traditional checkouts are appointments between the resident and a staff member to review the condition of your room and turn in your keys. An appointment for a traditional checkout needs to be scheduled 24 hours prior to the appointment time. To prepare for your appointment, follow the steps:

PLEASE NOTE, if you are not prepared for checkout or miss your designated time, you are subject to a charge for an improper checkout and will need to do one of the following:
1. Reschedule your appointment (24 hours in advance).
2. Check out using the Express checkout option.
3. Go to the front desk to request the RA on-call to complete your checkout. This
option will result in a longer wait as completing checkouts is not the primary responsibility for the RA on-call. This option is not recommended if you are under time constraints.
