Fell-School Street Apartments

Each apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom, and houses 4 students total. Units are fully furnished and include:

• Kitchen - full kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and kitchen table with chairs
• Living room furniture
• Bedrooms - twin bed (extra long), dresser, desk, and desk chair
• Internet
• Water and electricity
• Wall unit air conditioners

Each Cardinal Court, Fell Avenue, and School Street apartments have a monthly electricity budget included in the room rate. The electricity budget for the 2025-2026 academic year is $60.00 per resident per month.  Electricity is metered by apartment. A four-person unit therefore has a budget of $240.00 per month, and a six-person unit has a budget of $360.00 per month. If any apartment exceeds the monthly electricity budget, the students living in the apartment will be fined for excessive use. The fine will be in the amount of overage, and will be split equally between the residents. Being under budget for one month does not allow an apartment to be over budget the following month. The monthly budget amount will remain the same throughout the contract period. Any appeals, concerns, or disputes of these charges will be heard by the Assistant Director of Facilities at jnevill@IllinoisState.edu.

The laundry rooms in Fell Avenue and School Street apartments are located in a communal space on the lower floor and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Laundry is included in your room rate for the year, so feel free to wash and dry to your heart's content! Either HE (high efficiency) or regular detergent may be used.
