Residential Case Managers

The Residential Case Manager team is here to help you succeed at ISU. We provide support, connect you with resources on and off campus, and can help you navigate college life challenges. Our offices are in your residence hall buildings and we are available to meet with you once or on an on-going basis to best address your needs.

While we do not provide counseling, we’re happy to help you set up an appointment with Student Counseling Services.

We Can Help You!

You don’t need any specific reason to reach out to a Residential Case Manager. If you or someone you know is struggling or needs someone to talk to, please reach out to us! We can help with physical/mental health concerns, food insecurity, financial stress, struggling to feel connected on campus, academic challenges, or even feelings of loneliness. We’re here to help no matter the size of the problem.

I’m Concerned About Someone Else

If you are a family member, roommate, or friend of someone who seems to be having a difficult time, please let us know so we can check in with them. Here are some signs of distress to look out for:

  • Consistently missing class
  • Isolation from others
  • Being hurt by someone else
  • Hurting themselves
  • Heavily using substances
  • Having difficulty dealing with day-to-day living.

If you want to report a concern of this type, please submit a Redbird Care Team report so they can get the help they need. If you’re uncertain, it’s ok to make a report and ask to remain anonymous; one of us may follow up with you just to get more information.

If there is a critical threat or emergency, please call 911 or the Illinois State University Police Department at (309) 438-8631.
