Laundry

The laundry rooms in Tri-Towers are located in the basement of each building (Wilkins, Haynie, & Wright) and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Laundry is included in your room rate for the year, so feel free to wash and dry to your heart's content! Either HE (high efficiency) or regular detergent may be used.

The LaundryView Monitoring System shows which machines are available and how much time remains on them. Visit the site at www.laundryview.com to see more!

Floor Designations

Floor Designations such as all themed, female, male, or all gender floors, provide a unique atmosphere for residents who share common interests and are interested in an environment that supports personal growth, both socially and academically.

Tri Towers Façade Project

In Summer 2025, Tri Towers embarked on a façade repair project.  It will continue through the academic year, and is projected to conclude in August of 2026.

This work can only take place during favorable weather conditions.  Inclement weather will cause delays.  Because the application of products requires a particular temperature threshold, work cannot continue during winter months (approximately November through February).

What will students see/hear during this project?

During the project, workers will use a “swing stage,” or a suspended platform, to access the outside walls of the buildings.  They will climb the face of the building each day at approximately 7:00 a.m., work on the exterior of the building throughout the day, and lower back down the building at approximately 4:00 p.m.

To protect everyone on the ground, a protective zone around the swing stage will be roped off.

Will this work be noisy?

There will be some noise associated with hand tools, including saws and drills.  As each side of the building is complete, it will be pressure-washed to remove buildup and debris.

Can the workers on the swing stage see into my room?

This is not likely.  During daylight hours, the window glass is quite reflective.  Workers will be done at approximately 4:00 p.m. each day and will not be working at night.

We realize it may be unsettling for some residents to have people working outside your window for an extended period.  To provide peace of mind, workers will clamp a privacy curtain to the outside of the window when they are doing work for an extended period.

If you have additional concerns about privacy, you are encouraged to close your blinds while work is taking place outside your window.
