What not to bring
For the safety of you and others in the campus community. The following items are not allowed on campus.
- Air Fryers**
- Because of space constraints, please do not bring large moving trucks or towed trailers to move-in.
- Blender**
- Bottle or Can Collection
- Candle Warmer
- Candles, Wick Lamps, Incense
- Cinder Blocks (all beds are adjustable to various heights and blocks are not needed)
- Coffee Maker/Tea Maker** (This item is different than a Keurig or Single Serve Beverage Maker)
- Curtains, Draperies, or Blinds
- Electric Kettles**
- Electrical Lighted Window or Wall Signs
- Grill - any type
- Halogen Lamps (This includes the colorful multi-light (a.k.a. "octopus") lamps)
- Hot Plate**
- Hoverboards (battery-operated scooters)
- Ice Makers
- Hoverboards (battery-operated scooters)
- Large moving trucks or towed trailers
- Lava Lamps
- Microwave (provided in Cardinal Court kitchens and in shared areas in the Residence Halls)
- Personal transportation devices (i.e., electric hoverboards, electric scooters, electric bikes, gas-powered bicycles, any device powered by Lithium-ion batteries, etc.) are prohibited from all University Housing Services residential properties (residence halls and apartments) unless the specific device isapproved as a disability accommodation by Student Access and Accommodation Services.
- Pets (except fish - nothing larger than 10gal tank) - must get Assistance Animals approved through Student Access and Accomodation Services prior to bringing the animal to campus.

- Sandwich Maker**
- Toaster/Toaster Oven**
- Cardinal Court Only: Mini-Fridge (full-size refrigerator provided in kitchen)
** Indicates items acceptable at Cardinal Court ONLY. Do not bring to residence halls.
Heat-producing appliances such as coffee pots (except for single-serve auto shut-off coffee makers-i.e., Keurig), hot pots, personal microwaves, air fryers, and candle warmers are not allowed in residence hall student rooms but are allowed in University apartment kitchens.
