What is a Suite?

Suites are private living areas that contain a bedroom(s), living room, and restroom (only shared by residents of the suite).

UHS offers variations of suites including: 4-person double suites, 6-person doubles suites, single suites, and super single suites.

  • Super single suites are only located in Watterson Towers.
  • Single occupancy rooms in a suite are only located in Wright Hall at Tri-Towers.
  • Multiple occupancy rooms in a suite are available in Haynie Hall, Hewett Hall, and Manchester Hall.
  • Residents living in suites are responsible for cleaning their own living area and bathroom.
  • All suite bedrooms include mattresses, bedframes, dressers, desks and desk chairs. Residents who live in suites are responsible for furnishing the living room area of the suite. Residents who live in suites are also responsible for providing their own toilet paper. 

Watterson Towers

  • Rooms 313 and 314 in each house of Watterson are super single rooms in a suite.

Tri-Towers (Haynie, Wilkins, Wright)

  • Suites in Haynie are on every floor. Rooms 03, 04, and 20-22 are double-room suites.
  • Suites in Wright are on floors 6-11. Rooms 02-04, and 24-26 are single-room suites.

Hewett-Manchester

  • Suites in Hewett are on floors 7-17. Rooms 03 and 04 on floors 7-12 and rooms 03, 04, and 26, 27 on floors 13-17 are double-room suites.
  • Suites in Manchester are on floors 2-17. Rooms 02 and 03 and 27 and 28 on each floor are double-room suites.
