Spring Break to begin March 8

  • Watterson Towers, Wright & Haynie Halls close on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. and reopen on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m.
  • All other on-campus residence halls and on-campus apartments remain open during spring break. 

Indian and LGBTQIA+ Cultural Dinner Featuring ALOK

  • University Housing Services is proud to announce acclaimed poet, comedian, public speaker, and actor ALOK (they/them) as our special guest for the Indian and LGBTQIA+ Cultural Dinner on Tuesday, April 1, at 6 p.m. in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center.
  • Meal plan holders may use a meal swipe to make a reservation in exchange for one meal. Tickets will be available until March 21 or until the event is sold out.

  • End of Spring Semester

    • Saturday, May 10 | All residential areas will close at 2 p.m.

Dismount zones, pedestrian safety, miscommunication concerns explained

On Feb. 22, Illinois State University’s Academic Senate passed a policy implementing dismount zones on campus to provide safer conditions for pedestrians.
